For Christmas, my family and some relatives decided to spend one weekend in Subic to break the tradition of spending the whole Christmas break at home. I remember going to Subic several times when I was still a child but don’t have any memories of exploring the place. To me, Subic only meant Duty Free. I finally had an opportunity to explore and see what else it had to offer.
My older sister planned this short holiday getaway for us. My family were my travel companions for this trip: mom, sisters, aunt, cousin, cousin-in-law & nephews. The trip was fun and lighthearted because of the kakulitan of my nephews and the adventurous spirit of the oldies. Hahaha!
As always, I was asleep for most of the time it took to drive from Pangasinan to Subic. All I can say is that it took around 3 hours for us to arrive at our destination. I promise to get better with directions in future!
Our Accommodation: Subic Homes
My sister was able to book a vacation villa in Subic Homes for an overnight stay. I really loved the place. The 3-bedroom house that we stayed in was complete with all the basic necessities that our whole family needed. The house boasted of centralized air conditioning and water heating, as well as a complete kitchen.
There was also a pool that we could use that was just walking distance away from the house but it was too cold for swimming.
